With 50% of Scotland’s population living within an hour’s drive of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, it’s one of the most accessible bits of countryside in Scotland.

Our stunning landscapes, picturesque lochs and dramatic mountains offer loads of opportunities to get out and make the most of the National Park. Whether you prefer a relaxing stroll and a picnic or something a bit more energetic, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs has so much to offer.

We want everyone to make the most of the outdoors in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs so we’re focused on outdoor learning and education, promoting access and recreation, and providing a better facilities and information that add to a great outdoor experience, whether that’s from our knowledgeable Ranger service, through our dedicated Volunteers or the work we do with Police Scotland on Operation Ironworks to ensure the National Park offers a warm welcome where people feel safe.
